    Rhinoplasty Surgery Process:

    Cosmetic Rhinoplasty:

Aesthetic Concerns: Cosmetic rhinoplasty is performed to
improve the visual appearance of the nose. This may involve altering
the size, shape, symmetry, or proportions of the nose
    to enhance facial harmony.

Nasal Bridge: Changes can be made to the nasal bridge, including
reducing a hump, straightening a crooked bridge, or refining the profile.

    Functional Rhinoplasty:

Breathing Difficulties: In some cases, rhinoplasty is performed to
address functional issues related to breathing. This may involve
correcting a deviated septum or enlarging nasal
    passages to improve airflow.

    Procedure Techniques:

Open vs. Closed Rhinoplasty: The surgery can be performed using either an open or closed technique. In open rhinoplasty, a small incision is made externally across the columella (the strip of skin between the nostrils), providing better visibility for complex procedures. Closed rhinoplasty involves incisions made inside the nostrils, resulting in no external scarring.

Cartilage Grafting: Cartilage may be harvested from the nasal septum or other areas of the body (such as the ear or rib) to reshape and reinforce the nasal structure.

    Recovery and Results:

Initial Recovery: Patients typically experience swelling and bruising around the nose and eyes immediately after surgery. Nasal splints or packing may be used to support the nose during initial healing.

Long-Term Results: Final results become more apparent as swelling subsides, which may take several weeks to months. It’s essential for patients to follow postoperative care instructions for optimal healing.
